How to use this syllabus — 8-week study plan (practical)
Follow a focused plan: 6 days study + 1 revision/mock day each week. Split each week across subjects so no topic is ignored.
- Weeks 1–2: General English — practice comprehension, grammar worksheets, error spotting and paraphrasing. Build vocabulary (30 words/day) using flashcards.
- Weeks 3–4: Numeric ability — daily arithmetic practice (50 questions/day). Focus first on basics: percentage, ratio, averages, speed/time-work.
- Weeks 5–6: Reasoning & Data Interpretation — time-bound puzzles, practice previous JKSSB reasoning sections and mock DI sets.
- Weeks 7–8: Computer apps & GK (J&K focus) — practice Excel basics (VLOOKUP not required; basic formulas suffice), review J&K history and current affairs; take full-length mock tests every 3rd day.
Finalize with 4 full-length timed mocks (80 minutes). Analyse weak areas and revise formulae, prepositions, and J&K facts in the last 7 days.
